Private and small group LESSONS

Small Group and One on One sessions will help take your game to the next level. Our instructors will be able to give you their full attention, teaching the small details of the game that make a big difference.


Packages are the best “bang for your buck” as they lower the cost per session and allow for the proper amount of time with the coach to see real progress. Athletic development is a process and takes time to achieve. Our staff is highly qualified and extremely passionate about helping our athletes get better while having fun doing it.

Hitting, Fielding, and Pitching Sessions:

Fielding lessons require a field. Please confirm with your coach field availability prior to showing up for your session at The Dome. Private and Semi-Private sessions are 30 mins/session. Small Group (3-4 Players) are 60 mins/session.

For pitching sessions please provide your own catcher for best results.

What to bring

For all of our baseball programs ages 8 and up we recommend athletes bring the following:
Bats and balls are available for use from the Dome. Please note, The Dome is a food free facility. Change room space is limited, so we suggest players show up ready for practice.

Little Sox/ Little Sluggers 4.0

Description: Little Sox is for 9U advanced baseball players that want to take their game to the next level. Little Sluggers is for 9U baseball players (including beginners) interested in learning the game of baseball and softball. We teach introductory baseball/softball concepts and FUNdamentals. Athletes will go through fun warm up drills, followed by station work and mini games. Our philosophy at this age is keep it fun, keep it moving, simple solid teaching points, and make sure the kids get lots of reps.

What to Bring: Players will need to bring a glove, spill proof water bottle, and clean running shoes or cleats. If they have a bat and helmet please bring those as well but they are not required. We recommend wearing pants rather than shorts. Dress warm!

11U-15U REC Baseball and Softball 4.0

Description: Rec 4.0 is for Rec, A players, and multi-sport athletes that only have 1 day a week for baseball off-season training! This program will help all players improve their game and get ready for tryouts and their upcoming season. Coaches will focus on teaching the fundamentals of baseball and softball in a fun, encouraging, low consequence, developmental environment. Please note there are two groups so register for the one appropriate for your son or daughter. 

Players need to bring a glove and non-spill water bottle. If players have a bat and helmet, please bring them as well. Long sleeves and pants are recommended. Dress warm!

Ages: 11U, 13U, 15U, (Maximum 24 Player Limit)

Level: Rec, A, AA

Start Date: Friday March 15th, 2024 

End Date: Friday April 26, 2024 (Week of for Easter) 


Baseball- Fridays 5pm-6:30pm

Softball- Fridays 6:30pm-8pm

Field: Wrigley

Cost: $225 + gst (No refunds)

Format: Warm-up, station work, offensive and defensive drills, gameplay.

2nd Annual Ice Breaker Baseball Tournament

Description: The 2nd Annual Ice Breaker Baseball Tournament will be held inside The Dome Red Deer where there is no spring snow or rain. This preseason tournament will help baseball players from 9U-15U get back into the Swing of things for their upcoming season. Teams from all over Alberta and beyond are welcome. Please contact if you have questions. Team registrations only, no individual registrations will be accepted. 

Ages/Level- 9UA and 11U -15U   (AA and AAA)

Food: The Dome cafe will be open for lunch, snacks, recovery shakes, and hot and cold beverages to go. Team managers can pre-order to have food ready right after the game. 

Dome Summer Hitting Program

Program Description:The Dome Summer Hitting Program is for anyone looking to enhance their hitting skills, while getting a chance to try different drills and hitting games. Athletes in the program will be able to go through hitting stations that involve mechanical adjustments, bat control, bat speed, & learn about hitting approaches.

Level: Intermediate-Advanced

Start Date: June 6

End Date: July 25

Times: MONDAYS ONLY- 11U/13U 5:30-6:30pm, 15U/18U 6:30-7:30pm

Total Weeks: 8

Cost: $160 + GST ($20/Session)

Format: Warm up, Station Work, Full Batting Practice

Pillars: Technical/Tactical

Features: Individual Instruction, Mechanical Training, Bat Control/Speed Training.

What to Bring: Molded cleats or indoor running shoes (NO METAL CLEATS), spill proof water bottle, bat, glove, helmet, athletic wear.

Off Season Girls Baseball Clinics

Description: Open to girls interested in pursuing baseball and taking their game to the next level. Clinics will consist of infield, outfield, pitching, catching, baserunning, and hitting/bunting technical skills; plus, athletes will gain an understanding of the game. Clinics lead by Harold Northcott, former National Team coach and former coach of Team Alberta Girls 13U, Team Alberta Girls 16U and Team Alberta Women, and other Dome Red Deer baseball coaches and staff.

Group I (ages 9-13): 9:00 am-12:00 pm Group II (ages 14-18): 1:00 pm-4:00 pm (Maximum 24 players per group

Level- Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Dates: Sundays- November 14th, December 5th and 19th of 2021.  January 9th, 30th, February 13th, February 27th  and March 6th of 2022.


Option one: $25/hr ($75 per clinic)

Option two: $20/hr for all 24 hrs of instruction ($480 for all 8 clinics)

Dome Team Practices

Description: The purpose of this is to help with in season player and coach development. Our coaches will create a practice plan that suits your team and gives your coaches something to build upon throughout the season. A Dome coach will run your team and coaches through a practice at The Dome or on your home field. Our coach and your coaches will meet prior to the practice to go over the practice plan. To maximize results we recommend 3+ practices per team throughout the season. 9U-11U practice plans will focus more on technical tasks and a lot of reps. 13U to 18U practice plans will consist of technical and tactical drills to improve team performance and success. 

Level- A, AA, AAA

When: Year round

Ages: 11U, 13U, 15U, 18U 


1 Practice- $275 plus GST

3 pack- $265/practice plus GST

5 pack- $255/session plus GST

All sessions are 90 mins. Sessions can be used by different teams within the same organization.

Our coaches can come to you! Prices are the same plus gas mileage. When practices are run at The Dome all equipment is included in the cost. When we run practices at your facility please provide L Screens, balls, and other necessary equipment for the practice.
