Jason was born in Basingstoke, England. He holds both the UEFA Pro Licence and English FA Academy Managers Licence. Jason held Academy Coaching positions at Southampton FC, AFC Bournemouth and Burnley FC in the English Premier League before being appointed as Academy Director at Burnley FC and later at Dalian Yifang FC in the Chinese Super League.
Jason has experience of coaching players in each of the development phases. Some of the players that Jason has experience working with include, James Ward-Prowse and Danny Ings (Southampton FC & England), Luke Shaw (Manchester United FC & England) and Dwight McNeil (Burnley FC & England U21’s).
In addition to his coaching roles, Jason has tutored coaching courses for the English Football Association and talent identification courses for The Professional Soccer Scouts Association.
